Parkingeye PCN Even Though QR Code Used
Hi all,
My wife recently went to our local petrol station/greggs/starbucks to meet her mum for a coffee, where she stayed for about an hour (55 mins according to the PCN). During that time she used the QR code in Starbucks to register our car, but today a PCN has showed up saying she overstayed the 30 mins free.
What should be my first port of call here? Parkingeye don't provide any sort of evidence (email etc) when the QR code is used so other than the 15 quid she spent in Starbucks we have no proof.

Get pictures of the signage on that private property and also inside with the QR code machine etc
Follow plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad, complaining about it to Starbucks and insisting they cancel the pcn, due to proof of patronage

Quick update: Over lunch I happened to be going past, and the lady in Asda said if I take the PCN down they'll just get it cancelled.

Perfect. What a waste of time for you and for these real businesses though.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
