Gatwick airport accidentally drove through drop off at 4am
Hi everyone,
I came back from holiday early this morning and picked up the car from the south terminal long stay car park.
When coming out I was confused (tired, dark and hadn’t been there before) and somehow entered the drop off zone before realising I was in the incorrect lane.
I’m not sure what to do at this point because there’s no way I’m paying them £10 for a mistake and driving straight through.
However, do I pay the £10 and request a refund that they probably won’t grant, or should I just leave it for now until they send a pcn and then dispute it?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated it. I have read other threads about appealing etc but I saw the the provider has changed from NCP to Times24 recently so wasn’t sure how they operate.

If you drove right through there shouldn't be a PCN as it would have taken 20 or 30 seconds. Just come back if you get a PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
