Countrywide Parking PCN appeal

Bit of a tricky one.

I have recently started attending universal credit appointments at my local job centre and there are a couple of car parks around. I decided to park in the one managed by countrywide parking and had to pay on the app Ringgo. On their app, they have a section where it says ‘Nearby’ Carparks, and I decided to pick the one that was closest to me and had the same name (/very similar) as the one I was in - Cotlands Road.

I paid on the app and then 2 weeks later recipient a PCN in the mail, and as I thought I had paid at the correct car park, I appealed with a screenshot of my payment on Ringgo. 4 days after receiving the ticket, I had to go back to the job centre and again used the nearby feature, paid my ticket and went on my way.

However, today I had another appointment and when I went on the RingGo app, I decided to put in the numbers instead to identify the location and I realised it was different than the location I had been paying the last 2 times. This carpark didnt come up at all on the ‘Nearby’ section of the RingGo app and it was all a bit confusing. The one that i had been paying was very close by.

I’m unsure what to do now as I have already appealed the first ticket (which i dont think i will win anymore as it would have showed me paying a ticket at a different car park) , and im still waiting for my second PCN to come in from last week as that ticket was paid for a different car park, and then today i paid at the correct location.

If anyone could help that would be really appreciated!

Just ignore them.

You should already know this from reading NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.

And NEVER look for 'nearby' parking on your app, which often causes this. The numbers are on the sign for a reason.
