Times24 Parking Gatwick Drop off PCN

Hi All,

need some advice about drop off pcn at gatwick from times24 parking.

incident date 11/8/26, issue date 20/8/26

the keeper has an auto pay setup but some times their system does not work properly and the can not take the payment but they send an email informing that auto pay failed and need to pay manually. it happened before that payment was not taken and got the email and paid the charge manually but with this specific time didn't receive the email ( have checked but no email on that date and time for failed auto pay. appealed on the basis of auto pay and they rejected saying an email was sent but in fact no email received, see below their response, they say can appeal to IAS but will loose discount.

Shall we do the appeal to IAS and include relavand land argument ( was not used in original appeal, before with NCP when this happens they just ask to pay original drop off charge and cancel the pcn) and how can we argue about auto pay failing and not getting email for failed auto pay?

any advice would be appriciated

many thanks

Obviously the discount bribe is irrelevant because you'll never have to pay this but could try the hopeless (non-impartial) IAS kangaroo court just to waste their money and for the LOLs.

    But FIRST:

…if the keeper who is appealing this definitely wasn't the driver, the easiest way to kill this is to send a pic of your driving licence with photo & name showing (but refs & day/month of your DOB redacted) and spell out that clearly the keeper's image doesn't match the driver's image that their camera took, so they cannot squeal about Elliott v Loake and must cease and desist and erase the keeper's data.

Either way, reply straight back and ask for a full copy of the email they say was sent, including headers. Because no email exists and you suspect them of misleading conduct and concocting a story in bad faith. This will be reported to the CMA this month with all the evidence (including a 'no results' email search) if they fail to provide the email proof or cancel the PCN within 14 days.

hi, we are going to reply to ask for proof of email and say all other bits you mentioned thank you but one issue is that they selected appealing "as driver" in appeal process and only wrote that I have an autopay. does that mean pofa keeper liability argument is no longer valid?
