Gate Lock

image.png

Please can anyone help me find out where I can buy this kind of lock? So, the one with this handle and stuff. I want this kind of lock but I can't find it anywhere without buying with the gate?

I want this exact same style. It seems old style. Gravity latches now are looking different.

Thank you

I don't know for certain, but have you tried the usual places such as B&Q, Screwfix, Wickes, local builder's merchant, fencing suppliers ?

Broughtons of Leicester is the usual recommendation for more unusual hardware. But the latch you are looking for is a modern design - Pretty simple, and easy enough to cut from a sheet of steel. I could probably knock one out in 5-10 minutes (if given a drawing).

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

^ I agree with FreeBear; it's quite possible the latch in the picture was fabricated by whoever made the gate, and has never been available to buy as a weldment.
