Invest?? Help needed please

I was more thinking so they could see how their investment changed by day, appreciate you won't see the long term growth but would hopefully see a few ups and more importantly downs that you are likely to experience with investing in something you have specifically chosen rather than the news just saying the market is up or down

One part of T212's business model, is to attract new customers by offering a very low cost S&S ISA, and competitive rates on Cash ISAs. Then they try and tempt you away from 'boring' long term investing and cash savings, into trading shares, CFD s etc, which is much more profitable for them.

The 'Research Mode' is just one way of trying to hook you in.

One minute you are putting £100 a month into Vanguard Lifestrategy 60, and the next you are trading in products with a 80% loss rate. That is what they hope anyway. No doubt you are far too sensible to be tempted.

I opened this with the idea it would be used to fund the gap between retirement and state pension kicking in, I may not close it but it currently my intention to use this to bridge the gap until,state pension kicks in so maybe withdrawing 12 -15K a year….

But you don't close it until there's nothing left, and if you're lucky it will grow quicker than you spend. I was expecting to be withdrawing capital in the early retirement years, but in the event I just took the natural yield, plus running down cash balances in various savings accounts.
