British Gas Incorrect electricity pricing on app and website

I recently switched from Fuse to British Gas via a collective switch. However I have come across a problem.

My smart meters are working correctly. Sending data to British Gas and displaying my usage on IHD. The kWh I use display correctly everywhere as does my gas usage and cost BUT

My electricity COST is displaying incorrectly on both British Gas app and website despite the usage displaying correctly

My bills are correct. The cost appears correct on my IHD, in Bright smart meter app, in U Switch U Track app but not on British Gas app or website

As an example on 24th September I used 7.26 kWh electricity. This is correct
Bright app and uswitch says that costs £2.12p
British Gas app says 25 pence (I wish 😆)!!!! If I toggle on the standing charge it correctly adds the SC of 54.55p making it 80pence but that's still not reflective of my unit cost .

My tariff is 21.62p per kwh . 7.26 kWh should display as 7.26 x 21.62 which is 156.96 or £1.56 in real money. Add on the 54.55p Standing Charge we get £2.115 which is basically what all other apps except British Gas display

    OK, the good news is:

My bills are correct. The cost appears correct on my IHD, in Bright smart meter app, in U Switch U Track app

This means the problem is something specific to how BG are displaying your costs in their app and on their website.

If it bothers you, you'll have to contact their Customer Services.

@QrizB it doesn't bother me so much but a utility companies app should perform as expected. It's the first place I go to to keep an eye on costs. Contacted customer services they seem to think there's an issue with my smart meter (clearly there isn't ). However today I noticed others commenting regarding this issue on social media

I'm with BG and on a fix. When i look at 'view current tariff' it says 19.68 per kwh and 57.41p per day/ On my statement, both figures are the same.

On the usage tab mine says, for 24th Sep, I used 7.93kwh and that cost me 60p 😁. Apparently I used a total of £15.61 of electricity in the whole of September as well, but my bill was £68 🤔Definitely not working correctly.
