When you say you transferred the money, do you mean a bank transfer? if so you are going to really struggle as this is a well known common scam. Did you get the warning before you made the transfer about making sure you knew the person you were sending it to which is usual for most high street banks now, I always wonder if not getting that warning means the bank might assist in getting the money back.

Bank transfer? Money is gone forever.

If you used paypal as recommended then you can raise a dispute and get a refund

Look into this, it might be your only chance: some blurb found on the web

    • "Binding" on a DJI drone is the link between the drone's serial number and a DJI account — it controls activation, firmware updates, DJI Care, and Find My Drone, but it does not stop the drone flying
    • A factory reset wipes settings and the local pairing on the drone, but on its own it does not break the account-side binding held by DJI

So I'm thinking do you have the drone's serial number and if so the details of the owner will be held by DJI - I know it's a long shot, but explore all avenues.
