DCBL Claim form (hotel carpark)

I am navigating all of the help on here (thank you all!)

I have done the Money claim Acknowledgement of service part

I move house next week and then a few days after go on holiday until the 27th of October

I can see where it says to "hold off" about replying to quick with my defence, but I don't want to forget about it or end up being to late when I return next month so I am being a "eager bever" and looking at just doing it all now

when using the template I cant submit it as it says

The following errors have occurred:

  1. This field has invalid character. You cannot use < > "

I have read through all the paragraphs and have no idea why and still have 18 lines left to use

this is my Para 3

3.looking at the property, The properties entrance conceals
parking charge signs (archway both signs face inwards and has no
lighting at night time in the archway or parking area, making it
impossible to see any parking charges on arrival) this tactic I
believe is to "trap" users

I beat one of these years ago from a motorway services and would love to beat them again!

What is the date of issue of the claim form and we can tell you the deadline for your defence? They have told you which characters you cannot use; if you want to use apostrophes, use a single ' rather than a double "

Do not use I or any similar words either, IT'S THE DEFENDANT, not I ( 3rd person. )

The other errors are 2 air quotes surrounding the word trap

Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left hand side of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

Name the claimant that DCB LEGAL are working for

Login to MCOL via your government gateway account and complete the AOS online stage ASAP, then start drafting your paragraphs 2 & 3

With an issue date of 25/09/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 14/10/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 28/10/26

if it states only "Its for breach of terms for parking" you can use the Chan & Akande defence.

So Parking Eye via DCB LEGAL, no actual breach pleaded, so use the standard Chan and Akande defence template on MCOL ( no paperwork, no emails, just MCOL. ) , do not use banned characters like " "

Here's the exact same thing answered twice, yesterday (click on the post date below, not the URL). Like Groundhog Day on here sometimes!

  • Ahh ok Thank you everyone

I cant seem to do much right now as my Moneyclaim login is playing up and seems to default to a false login page where I cant see anything to do with what I want, so will do what has been advised when I can.
