Morning everyone
It's to be nice and sunny here today so I'll get my washing dried outside, there's not a lot mainly my work clothes. After tea last night, it got so chilly I had a bath to warm myself up then had my dressing gown, a throw plus a cat on my knee while I watched TV!
I have a day to myself until about 4pm, when I'll get both little one and little lad to stay overnight. I'm planning on getting some cleaning done this morning and some garden tidying this afternoon…looking at the time perhaps I should get started!
The lady who delivers my Evri parcels is great and just puts them in the shed if I'm out, though in the village down the hill where DD lives, people are always putting photos online of the 'wrong doorstep' their parcel is at.
Scarlet and Chrisca enjoy your trips away.
Gers well done on standing your ground with the cashier, though you're lucky, all our banks have closed.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all, thanks for the start @Gers.
After all the greyness of yesterday, it's a beautiful sunny morning with a bright blue cloudless sky, very calm and dry but chilly. I'll confess to having the heating on for an hour last night and also when I dragged myself out of a warm and cosy bed this morning.
@TravellingAbuela - Yes, we had a spectacular sunset last night too with shades of pink, orange and gold that turned into a fiery red. I've seen the awful reviews for Evri but mine is excellent too - maybe it depends on where in the country you are. As for letter post, I have no idea who our regular postman is but it definitely hasn't been a daily delivery for a long time.
@Gers - Oh my, you have had a week of set-backs so I hope Nish Kumar can lighten the mood tomorrow. As for that parallel universe, I agree it's not age related, more that common sense and logic are fast disappearing.
@snoozer - Fingers crossed your migraine is on its way out, they can be so debilitating.
Yesterday my NDN asked if I had any unwanted bags, boxes etc that she could use for packing up small stuff (glassware, ornaments etc) ready for her impending house move. I had a fair amount saved for Justin in the spare bedroom and was more than happy to pass it all on. Today I'll give that room a good clean out and see if there is anything else that can be disposed of. Yet more washing to hang out before that - we have to take advantage of the good weather - and that's about my day. I used to like SCD but won't be watching it tonight (too long, too much chit chat and not enough dancing) but am sure I can find something on my watch-list. DS is away with pals this weekend so it's solo eating for me and I've found a tub of h/m curry in the freezer for tea, just need to cook some rice so nice and easy.
Happy holidays for those going off on a break, best wishes to all for a good weekend. Take care. xx

Morning all - lovely to see so many posts already.
Still walking wounded here - managed to walk a mile yesterday but probably too much on rough ground so have tried the same today on roads. Will do a few laps of the garden while mowing the lawn later - DF will fetch and carry/empty the clippings.
Just about to turn the vana round on the drive to see how painful, or not, driving is!
There have been some lovely sunsets over the last week, it makes up for the darker/earlier nights.
