A Big No No to Fuse
I'd weighed up all options and Fuse looked good, and was supported my ML. So last weekend I started the process of getting more details and then (potentially) signing up.
Oh what a faff, the website didn't work properly on laptop, so I downloaded the app, which allowed me to enter some details, but not all, clearly app not working properly either.
So, I sent a message and a chat AI basically told me the problem was I hadn't completed all my details, every time I indicated their website and app wouldn't work and I couldn't complete the forms it just went in a loop, then I got to 'speak' to a human.
The human language was like AI and told me that they couldn't do a credit check because they didn't have all my details, so I would have to make a £400 deposit. They couldn't get that their app wasn't working.
I wont go on, by this time around an hour had passed.
End result, I realized that I value paying a bit more for websites and apps that work, real humans at the end of a phone etc.
The result is I'm staying with Octopus and I'll fix at their 12 month deal.
I figured that if it was such a problem to sign up with Fuse, if their website and app didn't work, and if their humans were like AI, it would be a nightmare if anything went wrong, and I dont need the stress.

I joined a month ago and the website and app have worked perfectly.
The chatbot is the best I've ever encountered and on the one occasion I had interaction with a human the question was answered within a couple of minutes.
Methinks the issue may not be with Fuse.2 -
I can understand wanting to speak to real people, and with this company after having quite a few issues after initially signing up I had lots of chats with humans as well as some info from the AI bot. In keeping with many companies these days, the human support was really, really poor, and often a useless waste of time. Very little understanding of the problems, people who had very little education of what they were meant to be supporting. When having an issue with the IHD, one of the people there told me they were still waiting to see/use one to see how it works, so was next to useless in trying to help. The best answers I've had were from the bot.
