Claim Form DCB legal ltd for Euro car parks

Hi there,

I am new to this site and I’m a bit concerned . I have received a letter of claim form from DCB legal ltd for Euro car parks, where do I stand?. I was the registered keeper but was not the driver at the time of the fine. The driver forgot to pay at the Sainsbury’s car park they

entered at 12:00 and exited at 12:28 this was Xmas eve. When they got back they realised that they forgot to get a ticket so went on and paid via ringo for 2hrs parking at 13:01 to cover the duration of an hr and paid more for goodwill. When i appealed they said they did not receive the payment but I sent this via email of the screen shot of the parking receipt but they still want to charge me . I have ignored the letters after my appeal got rejected and did not mention who was the driver, now I have a letter from the claims court and im worried , any advice and what I shall do?

Many thanks

    Definitely Not

For now, study the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum, over the weekend, then complete the AOS online stage on MCOL in a few days time ( not today, today and this weekend are to get your ducks in a row, no rushing. )

You need to adapt paragraphs 2 & 3 in the defence template, from the 2nd post in that thread, and post them below for checking and critique ( coupon mad wrote that template and advice, so will only tell you to study it and to follow those steps )

The 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum will also provide valuable information too

With an issue date of 22/09/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 11/10/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 26/10/26

As @Gr1pr writes, use the template defence where your paragraph #3 should refute what the claimant claims in the POC.

  • Hi , im fnding it very confusing to find the template or if I actually have found the right one, I am very new to this site and don’t know where start with my denfence template.

There is only one template; go to the first page of the forum, one click back from here and you will several "pinned" or sticky" thread always on page one; you want the one entitled 'Template' defence suggestion -………….

Study the previous advice and look at the screenshot below, its normally about 5 from the top, because the admins split all the old posts into an archive a few days ago, leaving just 2 important posts
