Hiya,
I hope you can help.
I paid £18.00 for a few hours parking in Leeds, last August. I've since had several letters saying that I owe money but I don't understand as I'd paid an extortionate parking fee already.
They have now sent me (actually my son who has SEN and doesn't drive as this is a mobility car and several people have access to it), a claim form with a fake looking 'the county court' stamp on it. They are asking for £262.36 Claim Number: N9KF94CA. I have tried to email them but the email bounced back stating 'message blocked' Please can you offer some advice about this as it is causing me a great deal of stress. Thanks in advance.

If it is a N1SDT claim form it is genuine; can you post a picture of it here please BUT first remove any personal information but leave dates and the POC showing.

You will need to acknowledge service and defend the claim within the relevant timescales. This is all set out in the newbies thread. Post again if you need more clarification.
Unlikely to be fake but if you post a redacted image we can confirm
Edit: easily defendable if your son is (a) a minor and/or (b) lacks 'mental capacity'

issue date 7 sept
so
service 12 sept
aos by 26 sept
defend by 4pm 10 oct
you do need to remove that image as the claim number and password are both visible

Thank you.

Can you post the original pcn, back and front too?

With an issue date of 07/09/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 26/09/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 12/10/26

Just checking - is D deadline correct (not sure how it is calculated so apologies if wasting your time).

It's 2 weeks on from 26/9, So 10/10

How old is your son?
Does the claim name him?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
But it will never be on a week-end or bank holiday so 10/10 becomes 12/10.
