Gatwick drop-off ticket

IMG_0078.jpeg

My wife received a Parking Charge notice after forgetting to pay the drop-off charge in July.

Having read previous threads we put in an appeal. They then asked for copies of my wife’s driving licence. Again, following on from previous posts, we replied stating that they could request such when dealing with an appeal.

We’ve now received the attached letter.

My wife is up for paying the charge. I’d rather not. Any advice for the next step would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Elliott v Loake absolutely doesnt apply here.

  • Should I go back to Times Parling or just lodge an appeal with the IAS?

Neither, unless the keeper wasn't the driver in which case it's dead easy and the keeper should have provided their driving licence, and still can on appeal - obviously, to prove it isn't them!

If not, just totally ignore them.

    No paying.

Only a duped idiot with no internet would pay these rogue invoices, all the time the industry remains unregulated. Barrier-less Airport drop-offs are catching out too many people and are clearly designed to prey on human nature. So much so that the Government and Parliament are looking into them this year.

    Sit tight.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
