DCB Legal/Smart Parking Sanity Check
Morning all,
I've been getting letters from DCB for a while saying I owe them money, I've been putting them in a pile.
The vehicle in question is mine, but I was not the driver at the time.
DCB are saying insufficient time paid for, and only supplying a date, no time of entry/exit.
I have now received a letter from the courts with a link to the MCOL, I've done the AOS thing and am now looking at the defence part.
While having a look through bits I found the RingGo receipt on my account so know the time that was paid for, so, as part of my defence shall I get them to give their evidence or something like that, as they've never given me that info I dont know if that receipt is actaully going to help or not but have seen threads before where they try to chase you at anything over the time at all, regardless of any sort of leeway that they should be doing.
Sorry if this has been covered before, I've had a read through the FAQ's and couldn't see anything similar to mine, but, I do have issues focusing on stuff so entirely likely I missed something
Thanks.

Who is DBS. ? Usually its DCBL followed by DCB LEGAL, especially for Smart Parking cases
I presume that the top left of the claim form says SMART PARKING and DCB LEGAL below ?
Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below
Also post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

Yes, sorry, edited, it was DCB Legal Ltd.
Letters came from Debt Recovery Plus to start with, then one from CST Law, now this letter is from the Civil National Business Centre.
Issue date is the 4th Sept 2026.0 -
Thanks , once the AOS stage is completed on MCOL, use the bespoke Smart Parking DCB Legal defence template posted by member Meltof on 12th April

With an issue date of 04/09/26 and having completed the AoS in a timely manner your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 07/10/26
Well done, cleared your deadline comfortably.
