Morning all, thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons. Thanks for clarifying what you meant about bedding - I think we were all a bit confused! 😅
It's a bit of a dull start outside and feeling quite chilly but it should warm up as the day goes on and stay dry too. Top daytime temps around 18 or 19 deg but it might feel a degree or two cooler than that.
I didn't post over the weekend as, in truth, there wasn't anything of interest to say but I have been following along with everyone else's news. Here we are on a Monday morning and there's still nothing to report! 😁 I sometimes feel as if I'm in limbo waiting for something to happen but what, I don't know.
My NDN was supposed to be moving house this month but that's been postponed to October as all the paperwork is taking longer than expected. I do hope we'll get eventually get a nice family once the council have done all they need to do to make it ready for new occupants. I know they're going to be putting in a new kitchen so I expect there will be a fair bit of noise to contend with before that.
On today's agenda is yet more washing to hang out and make a pan of soup for lunchtimes. Yesterday's bread making session produced a disappointing loaf of bread - edible but didn't rise that well. 🙄 On checking I found the yeast was out of date so I suspect that was the problem. Tonight's dinner is a curry using chicken thighs from the freezer and I've also defrosted some naan breads to go with it. I can see this freezer emptying malarkey is going to take some time but it is stopping me spending unnecessarily!
Have a good start to the new week and take care. xx

Hi everyone,
We're back off to Chris and Crystal's to prune a couple of trees that overhang the footpath, they've drooped a bit too low.
Apart from that it will be a very quiet day, I need time to recharge my batteries.
Have a good day.

Hello all from a sunny Mehefinland.
Been a while since I posted and life has been rather hectic. Seem to have spent a lot of time whizzing up and down the motorways collecting won auction lots .House looks a bit like a cross between a crockery outlet and a furniture shop!! Off to Barnstaple tomorrow to pick up yet more stuff- I have threatened to chop her fingers of if she buys anything else
On top of that we had the library anniversary twmpath on Saturday which was well received and a good number of people taking part. That was a very long day , and then yesterday I was singing in a concert in the afternoon. Having a quieter day today but have just cut the grass (it has really spurted since we had rain) so that plan didn't quite come off😄 Looks better for having a cut though..
Got to dash..will write more when I get chance
Hugs and spoons as always
Mehefin aka Derek
