Morning all,
Sorry I’m a bit hit and miss ,lots of appointments, but no solutions
DS and youngest DGS came yesterday on their way home from a sporting event
I’d had warning so slow cooked pulled pork in a bbq sauce ,a huge piece of leg liberated from the freezer the night before , in rolls with salad followed by homemade apple crumble and ice cream
A vey small amount of both left for me today
Is it just me who finds that pulled pork doesn’t go nearly as far as roast and carved ?
Must do some washing today ,just waiting for hip etc to settle before I start
Stay safe all

Gers glad you enjoyed your show and got home safely.
Coxy sorry you had a bad night due to neighbours people can be so selfish!
Aa hope you start to feel better with the bruises coming out.
Snoozer good to hear from you
TA glad you enjoyed your lunch
Been out to pick the last of my potatoes from the trough. Really pleased we have had such a good crop for my first year.
Roast dinner today using some of above mentioned potatoes and some of the swede I froze after the Easter cheap veg.
Fairly quiet today hopefully so may potter around the house. Didn't get to sleep till gone 2 this morning as kept thinking of all the bits I want to do.
Have a good day hugs to all who want them

Morning everyone
Nice to read everyone's weekend news, though we seem to have a lot of worries and aches and pains - I'll join the club…I have a mixture of the usual Long Covid aches and carrying a heavy baby!
I took little one to a lovely event at the library yesterday…making a miniature art gallery in a box, we really enjoyed it, it was part of the open doors, heritage weekend. Followed by an afternoon of games and playing with her dolls house. I swopped her for little lad last night…he slept from 7pm till 8 this morning! He was fascinated sitting in his highchair watching me iron this morning, mustn't have seen it before, he certainly won't in DDs house! He's having a nap now, so I'm having some peace. DD and little one are at Edinburgh to see the musical Annie. She was teaching me all about Pompeii while we had tea on Friday, she'd been learning about it at school, then started worrying at bedtime in case it happened here while she was asleep…I pointed out that there are no volcanoes nearby!
I'll take little lad down to visit mam and dad this afternoon, I was planning on taking her for a walk as there are lots of posters up around the village for heritage weekend, what used to be in the buildings, but I'll have to see how windy it is, it's wild up her on top of the hill. Little lad will be one on Thursday, he's into everything and crawls so fast, I have cushions in front of everything he could bang his head on. His latest discovery is that he can pull himself up on my living room windowsill to see outside….and to throw everything onto the floor!
Redruby - I hope you get extra carers sorted for your mum soon, it's hard work for you and your sister.
Hope everyone has a nice Sunday x

I know that series of books! Grimm. They get better as the series goes on.
Sorry about your recurring cold @camelot1001, fresh air and plenty of hankies are just the job. My neighbours are mostly good @IzzyBee, there's always one who is an idiot though. 😃
The sun is now trying hard to blaze though the nippy wind is sucking away most of the warmth. I've been out with my smelly bin bag and now got lunch in the oven.

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd better drop a line to get myself back in the habit even though I'm dropping with tiredness.
We went to see Chris, Crystal, Nate and Sophia. They had quite a hard week, Chris went back to work after 8 weeks paternity leave and straight away had to go away from home for a meeting, then had inventory last night meaning he had 3 hours sleep and this week he has a head office audit of the warehouse. It meant Crystal had to cope with both children with Nate in his second week of school. We took food and I cooked a roast dinner for them.
Have a good evening.
