Response to CCA request

It's hard to tell really, they could have responded with the CCA or responded to say they didn't have it.
Once 12 days are up without the CCA being produced the debt is unenforceable until they do produce it, so you csn just ignore it until they produce the cca. If they want you to phone then I'd suspect that's it's to try and "encourage" you to pay it, these companies often try and downplay the significance of a debt being unenforceable and try and deceive people into paying them, saying that although it's currently classified as unenforceable it remains valid and collectable, or something like that.

I did wonder if they wanted me to phone to try and set up a payment plan. They’ve tried calling me today too, but I’ve set unknown callers to go straight to answerphone.
I’ll wait for a letter and see what that says and then decide how to deal with it.
Find a little bit of joy in every day.

That's always the best approach, then you can take you time, carefully consider the options and ask for advice. They obviously prefer phone calls as they can try and talk people into quick rash decisions, they only need to get one payment out of someone and it resets the statute barred clock.
