Defence against Civil Enforcement LTD County Court Claim
Hello everyone,
First time poster in need of some help. I have received a county court claim from the notorious Civil Enforcement LTD. I received a PCN back in Aug of 2023 whilst donating blood at a local community centre. I hadn't noticed since my previous blood donation that the community centre had installed cameras. I was not made aware of this fact from any of the nurses inside and the tablet to enter your registration was hidden behind a random random wall in the middle of the hall. I sent evidence of my blood donation session including a letter from nhs confirming this but my appeal was denied. I wanted to appeal to popla but I never received a verification number. Below are the date and times of the claim issued and my acknowledgement the same date the letter was receive.
A claim was issued against you on 09/09/2026
Your acknowledgment of service was submitted on 16/09/2026 at 22:22:48
Your acknowledgment of service was received on 17/09/2026 at 08:07:43
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

No breach pleaded, so use the standard Chan and Akande defence template in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum ( yes its that simple, lol. )

With an issue date of 09/09/26 and having completed the AoS in a timely manner your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 12/10/26

Not a close-up but a few pics showing the view of the foyer as you walk in the door and how hidden the tablet is.
Also get a pic of the car park entrance (lack of GDPR sign) and a readable photo of one of the t&cs signs in the car park.

I went back to donate blood at the same place a few months after the pcn just for the purpose of getting evidence and I thought I had taken a video but looks like I only took a single photo. This is it. Anyways I've submitted the Chan and Akande defence so just waiting game now.

Is that an NHS community health building? I would hazard a guess that those cages frequently get moved right in front of the tablet.

Thanks. My goodness that is practically impossible to see! Many patients would miss it once inside, thinking about their appointment.

I would also like to point out that the entrance is actually on the left side of the image so as you walk in the tablet is completely obstructed by the wall. Whoever thought that placement was a good idea was either a complete idiot or was done intentionally to catch people out. See my poorly drawn example:
