    are they wedded to that fund? Didn’t see an explicit preference. When I pointed out a fixed rate for ETF they acknowledged but didn’t say they particularly wanted that fund so just putting the options out there and trying to quantify potential savings

    switch to ETF and something like VALL which is 0.07% and on a fixed rate platform and you’ll be saving a good chunk.

    if you’re young enough to not need to worry about drawdown options then a zero fee platform could save even more

    Thank you all.

    My plan is to start drawing down my Sipp in 2 to 3 yrs time. So would probably put this amount into a MMF within my AJ Bell sipp

    If you're drawing out the whole value over 2–3 years, Then moving into cash makes sense, though I'm not sure an MMF would be ideal. Typically, a STMMF would be better.

    If you're not drawing it out over 2–3 years, moving it all to cash doesn't make sense. A more bucketed approach is likely better.

    Yes I mean A STMMF. Plan is to put enough in that to fund to use in years 4 & 5 until SP kicks in
