she went to see her GP who said she was not fit to travel, and gave her a dated letter stating that. She told her friend she was not going. We told he to make a claim with her insurance company.

My sister in law telephoned Royal Caribbean and told them she wanted to cancel her booking.

Yes, sorry, tired brain. So she wants refunding for whole cruise not just health cover. But new person has presumably paid to now go on the cruise so it's hardly fair that they pay double because someone else messed up (with sympathies to the OP SiL).

How do I request that this thread is moved to the insurance forum? Apparantly this section is the mis-selling forum and it should be in the Insurance forum.

Look at your original post. At the bottom there's a little red flag with the word "report" next to it.

Click on that and the final option in the list is "this thread needs moving etc". Choose that option and add a note in the box "please move this thread to the insurance forum".
