Purchasing an Annuity

As someone who is midway through an Annuity purchase, Application paperwork signed but not completed the "Transfer Out Discharge Form" for AJ Bell. Checked rates today which have increased and highest is not with the previous best provider, wondering the best way to proceed. Just don't complete the Discharge Form and start process from scratch?
Have emailed the online broker about how to benefit from the increased rate but no response so far, increase is £122 a year but it all helps. Anyone been in similar position? TIA

Well the broker could certainly get you another quote from your selected provider and you can see if that is closer to the best new provider than £122 pa. Then decide if it is worth the hassle of starting from scratch. At some point you are going to have to bite the bullet (or stop looking at the rates).
You can cancel an annuity even after it has started so pulling out now will be possible (I assume the broker would not charge anything for you doing that)

Regarding my previous post, had a positive response from Retirementline regarding Annuity rate rises and my quote is now inline with current rate and I don't need to resubmit any paperwork. Very happy with the service.
