Travel adapters

Hi there,

I will be going traveling across europe to asia this year and I will be taking various electricals such as Ipod, laptop, mobile phone etc and I'm basically going to need a good travel adapter that will enable me to charge and use all my equipment in the various countrys I will be visiting.

Can anyone suggest a good set of adapters or an all in one option that I will be able to use with an ipod too, as at the moment I can only charge it via usb.

Any suggestions welcome,

Thanks

There is only one answer to this question. ;)

And the answer is the "Swiss Travel Products World Travel Adapter with USB Charger"

This is the Daddy of them all, the Holy Grail of travel adapters and whilst you won't find it in a bin in your local 99p shop, if you spring the dough, you won't regret it. Your life will be enhanced, travel will be a joy, you will breeze through airport security, flights will run on time, aisle seats will become standard, never again will an entertainment box be under the seat in front of you, upgrades will be the norm, immigration queues will part like the Red Sea at the sight of you approaching, Customs men will wave you through with a knowing smile, taxis will be cheap and plentiful, all rooms will have a sea views, Maids will go the extra mile with the turn down service ... and your life will be altogether complete. :D

  • OMG this looks like the best thing since sliced bread, I've googled it and £16.95 seems like a bargain for an all in one option! I've seen some Ipod only travel chargers for over £25 in shops.

    Thanks very much for this!!
  • I've just managed to bag one of these bad boys for 13 squid which seems to be a bargain including postage too!!

The only question I have now is that someone mentioned that the changes in voltage in other countrys might mean that some of my electrical equipment might not work even though I have an adapter, is this true?
