Airbnb - attempted assault, advice please!

Airbnb have essentially said that inline with their refund policy they can’t offer us anything else
Have you seen the policy they refer to? From a quick search I wasn't able to identify anything in the public domain that addresses this sort of incident or that documents the short term provision of hotel accommodation, but to be honest I'm surprised that they even offer three nights in a hotel over and above the full refund, given that their role is essentially as an introducer between guests and hosts, as opposed to the role of, say, a package provider who'd have a clearer duty of care.

I have to be honest, and obviously it would depend on the terms of your policy, but I’m not seeing this as an insurance issue either. It effectively comes down disinclination to continue with the holiday and I think the insurance company are very likely to argue that regardless of your reasons.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
