Delay processing application for a First Active savings account

I applied for the First Active 4.55% savings account on 2/9/26. It was recommended here at MSE. Two weeks later and the application has yet to go through. I have had occasional emails apologising for the delay and telling me that there is no point contacting customer services. The information that has not been shared is when the account will be opened. It all seems very fishy. I get the feeling they hope I will take my savings elsewhere. Please does anyone know what First Active are up to with this product?
