PIP/Medical Records Request.
I am going through a personal injury compensation claim for my self. My solicitor has requested my DWP records as I claim PIP my self and its needed as part of my claim.
My question is that I am also a appointee for my daughters PIP claim. Will DWP provide information to the solicitor that I am appointee ? and give information about my daughter?
Thanks

It will just be your records and shouldn't involved your daughter unless as her appointee you have given permission.

It was a DWP third party right of access request form. Which i signed it contained
Address,my full name and my NI number.
No as her appointee i have not given permission for my daughters records or acces to me being appointee. My daughter has her own NI number linked to her PIP claim. But as I am appointee what is the chance DWP link it to my claim?

I don't know their process, but it should be on her records, (when you contact the DWP for youir daughter it will be her NI number you give.
There shouldn't be the need to have it your records concerning your claim, but not how the DWP work.
You can ask your solicitor for a copy of what the DWP gives them.Let's Be Careful Out There0
