I got an email from EDF telling me that my tariffs would increase on 1st October. No surprise there then. But when I click on the link to the NEW prices I get the above!

Email them and ask them to confirm that you will be charged those prices and then save that email if they agree.

That was my first thought!! But was wondering if others have had the same thing. I imagine their possible get out would be that these are not exclusive prices on a personal email to me but are on a link from the email to a general site. To get to them I had to confirm my postcode and tariff name. Methinks left hand is unfamiliar with right hand somewhere along the line.

Someone at EDF had created a template to be uploaded when they had the confirmed price cap increase and prices but didn't update it before they published it.

I've had my iirc -2p sc +0.2 sr +0.7 off peak this morning - eon do a seperate price change summary mailshot - but my account will show old rates until 1st.

So suspect its the same issue.

They would need postcode to get your region i guess.

More worried about Jan than Oct-Dec.

I've already upped my DD to cover their total annual cost change/12.

I think you hit the nail on the head - I looked beyond my own supposed tariff to see a lot of gobbledegook! Someone has dropped a clanger. Heads will roll. He who does not hesitate to press the upload button is lost!
