Car park fine

Company is that Euro Car park one and they have issued a fine for staying in their car park for more than 2 hours. However, I was charging my electric car using the very slow chargers on there. Even after the 3 hours I was parked there, my car was no where near fully charged. This can't be right surely? Why have chargers on there that won't charge you car within 2 hours. Also, I did do some shopping on the retail park where the car park is. Does anyone have any advice on this or have experienced this before?

Definitely wasn't a fine, magistrates issue fines, not ECP

You have received a pcn invoice from a private parking company, ECP , probably for overstaying the 2 hours allowed on site

Try plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum, complain about it to the retail park management company or landlord or landowner ASAP

    Which retail park. ?

  • Thank you.

One in Worcester, forgot the name, (i'm not from the area), next to the river.

The Location is on the pcn

  • Exactly this!

To be fair, at my local Aldi, they have a seperate section for the charging bays which is not part of the main car park and it's terms. Which is how it should be done.

Going back to my OP, I will update you with the outcome as soon as.

    Thank you.

    Very good news.

But why oh why, do the rogue parking industry think that their terms (which they rock up and set and persuade landowners are a 'tech solution') somehow supersede the offer on the EV firm signs that are read and accepted in those separate bays?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, totally agree. They should not ever have the same terms.

Thanks for your support with this query.
