Morning again, it seems to be an ok morning. Yesterday was a lovely day.
Remmie, your account of what happened when your neighbours cat met up with your dog made me laugh!
YL, I've seen some calendars for next year in one of our card shops.
Izzy, they've been working on the entrance to Durham bus station for months, it must be costing a fortune.
Sorry to read that your mum was so poorly Ruby, Hope she's picked up a bit.
Not a lot going on here today, just household stuff. The quiz isn't on tonight so dh, me, and another member of our team are going out for a drink at one of the local pubs.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, enjoy your drink tonight. Hope you're feeling better.
It's overcast and showery this morning, I can see the clouds moving fairly quickly but there's no breeze!
Feeling a bit better this morning after a decent night, I took some night nurse before I went to bed as the tickly cough was driving me mad so that probably helped.
Glad you had a good week away Izzy.
Your poor dog must have got a fright remmie!
Hoping your DM is feeling better today Ruby.
I got a new car seat for the little one as I can't use the one I had as it's been in an accident, I've asked if they can reimburse me for it as part of the claim. Talking of the car, it's going to be repaired but they've no idea how long it will be. I'm naming the car Lazarus as it's the second time it's come back!
Hugs to those in need, take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. After yesterday's lovely sunny day we got the promised rain overnight but that has now moved on and a dry day is forecast. Though not as warm unfortunately.
All being well I am meeting DF for lunch. No need to get the earlier bus this time as I got the bits I needed whilst I was out yesterday. A few jobs to do first though nothing too taxing. I don't do much ironing these days but the necessary items are starting to mount up so I will see to those too.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Take care all, be safe x

Morning everyone,
I haven’t seen what it is like outside yet as I have just woken up and am still in bed! I feel like I have been run over by a steam roller I ache so much, so I will try and get out for a short walk, and try and shake it off.
No other plans for today, it will be a quiet day.
Take care all.

morning everyone thanks for the start scarlet it’s mild and dry although it has been raining overnight I’m off out to a cleaning job my hubby wasn’t happy I was bored yesterday so the garage got a good tidy and a sweep out a tip run was done and I can’t believe I’ve got a chest freezer coming it was an accident I promise I went to meet my friend yesterday and I happened to look in a shop that sells refurbished and second hand furniture and there was a large frost free chest freezer for 120 pounds and 6 months garantee it came into my mind and I gave him a ring I know the man that has it he said I’m busy if you can wait until later on in the week I will deliver it how does a hundred pounds sound so at sometime this week I’m getting a new chest freezer I’m sure I will be able to fill it but I’m determined it will be very organised. YL I’ve got a calendar and a diary for next year . Hope your DM is feeling better today . Not a lot happening apart from housework and a dog walk when I get back . Chicken dinner tonight I have been tidying the freezer and found a couple of chicken breasts note to self I must keep this up . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Good morning
It's been raining overnight but looks like it's stopped now. Today's forecast is for dry and cooler weather, yesterday was so humid.
Today is my youngest granddaughters 9th birthday, how quickly that's gone. I'll give her a ring soon and sing to her, poor thing.
Nothing much happening today, I'm sure I'll find something to do.
Izzy, I am jealous of your new freezer, I'd love a chest freezer but nowhere to put one.
Redruby, I hope your mum is feeling better today.
TA hope you get your lunch date with df.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning all, it's all very watery outside. Seems there was heavy overnight rain.
The new and now broken mug is being replaced by the company, great service. Cracking on first use suggests a manufacturing fault so I'm very happy with them. Yesterday I spent ordering some new winter layer-wear, mostly bamboo. I also was 'forced' to clean out a big kitchen drawer. When looking for the jar of garlic paste I found that the jar of Marmite was lying side on and had leaked it's goo. Not nice but soon cleared up. It gave me the nudge to do some sorting out of too many things.
I'm really sorry to hear about your beloved DM @RedRuby1231, it's so distressing for you. I hope that some extra care is now is place.
Take care all, have a great day. Hugs to poorlies.

Morning all
Dry but full here I have one person coming today as the other is on holiday so we are meeting our friends and going to the local wild fowl trust and on a boat trip we will have lunch out too.
I was just going to mums yesterday when I got a call from the care line saying mum had pressed the alarm but they couldn’t contact her, I got there and mum was so unwell and couldn’t get out of bed, she was dizzy and white as a sheet, so i called another ambulance and she was taken in, my sister and I followed and it turns out she is severely anemic they think she might be losing blood somewhere internally so are going to investigate, she had a blood transfusion overnight so we will wait to hear some news today, I have warned my clients carer that I might have to drop him back earlier if they call, hopefully she will feel a bit better today, I should imagine that they will keep her in a few days at least.
Dinner tonight will be a Spag Bol and I need to pop up to mums to change the washing over, and put another lot on. Her bed will need changing too.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning everyone
I had an early start this morning as little lad was here overnight, as DD had to take little one to the hospital to get the next casts on her legs, no doubt I'll find out later what colour she has chosen. These could be the last ones, or they could need changed again next week. Little lad slept from 7pm till just after 7 this morning, DDs friend picked him up at 8.30 to take him to his visit with his mum. Somehow he got out of his sleeping bag during the night, he was fastened into it when I went to bed, but it was bundled up in the corner of his cot this morning.
Redruby - I'm sorry to hear about your mum, also that she didn't like it in the care home. My mam told me on Sunday that she will never like it. On her better days she knows why she is there, but mostly still asks to go home. The sale of their house was completed on Friday, I've phoned about their council tax this morning and closed their gas and electric account. It's a weird feeling, it's not the house I grew up in, but they'd lived there 37 years. I have a meeting at the care home with their social worker tomorrow morning.
Hope everyone has a good day today x
