Which Compact Digital Camera to buy?

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a nice compact digital camera to take on my travels but I have no idea which one to buy, I'm looking to pay £100 - £200.

Any suggestions would be great or if you could point me in the right direction for reviews etc.

Not an expert view but I got my wife a Canon Ixus 70 for her birthday in early December. Very compact, still has a viewfinder for conditions where light prevents easy use of the screen, 3x optical zoom 7mp, with a video capability. Stores on readily available SD cards. We've been very pleased with it as its very easy to use and very small. Paid £124 on Amazon. I believe the Ixus 75 is also now on offer but that doesn't have the viewfinder although is higher spec in other areas.

You can get dixons.co.uk to price match that if you call them up. They have them in stock at the moment. I bought one last week, arrived today. Paid £167 (with delivery) with a price match from another site.
