Still looking to fix your energy tariff?
Still looking to fix your energy tariff? Well the reality is you've probably left it too late.
But as that doesn't really help those currently on the search, and as MSE are not currently promoting any Cheap Energy Club exclusives (although ML is back on his ITV show Tuesday, so perhaps they'll launch something then?), maybe worth pointing out that uSwitch have a couple of exclusives currently available to those already registered.
Ecotricity EcoFixed - USwitch 2 Year September 26 v4
- boasted as the "Nation's cheapest fix"
- 24m
- £100 per fuel early exit fees
- low electricity unit cost (but higher than usual electricity standing charge)
E.ON Next Next Fixed 24m Exclusive v17
- probably not too much difference in overall cost to the above tariff for most people.
- 24m
- £100 per fuel early exit fees (Eon Next usually allow internal tariff transfers without incurring early exit fees, but not sure if that applies to this specific account)
Don't forget uSwitch cashback possibilities too!
And do open out your search to the whole of market to ensure you see just how each tariff stacks up for you
(As I said, I think you need to be already registered with uSwitch to apply for these, even possibly just to see them. Not registered? Then try their sister site, confused.com if you are registered with that)

The Eon 2 year fixes are generally £100 per fuel for both internal and external switches.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

I should hurry up as the price are going up by 8.5% less the 5% 6month VAT reduction. The government needs to stop pretending gas is the issue and fix the broken system . Who is going to move from gas to heating pumps with the state of the electricity supply system?

I'm just gonna suck it up and stay on the tracker until the energy companies sort themselves out.
I have solar and battery too, so that messes up the calculations of which would be cheaper (can't export solar at the moment).
What puts me off is the now very long fixed deals, plus the standard of exit fees now seems to be £100 per fuel, which dwarfs the savings.
