That's good, now you have until 3rd October. Don't talk about debt advice yet; that's for the next delaying tactic, as I explained.

Unfortunately DCB Legal hasn’t played the game as expected. There has been no response to my e-mail with another 30 day deadline, and a court claim has arrived today. Im assuming I now continue to follow the newbies thread via MCOL and then creating a defence after reading that thread?

Correct, 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements, followed by the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements
Edit Your thread title to suit the new circumstances too

Show us the date of issue of the claim form and the POC and we can give some deadlines.

With an issue date of 06/10/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 25/10/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 09/11/26
Since no breach is pleaded, you can use the template defence that contains Chan & Akande, linked in the NEWBIES and template defence thread.

You can also search for NEWEST posts by me that include the word 'fifth' or 'sixth'.
We had so many ParkingEye ones (all the same) this month that I nearly self combusted because there is no advice needed on individual cases and I think we need a group thread. The above search finds six cases exactly like yours with advice already given (totally unnecessarily on a case by case basis because the Template Defence thread specifically signposts everyone to what to put as paragraph 3 in ParkingEye cases).
Meaning there is nothing for you to draft.
Nothing for us to advise about.
