X Ban - Inauthentic Behaviours.

As the title, my 8 year old X account which I solely use for Comping has been banned for inauthentic beheaviours. I have appealed twice and been denied both times. I'm only liking, re-tweeting, tagging people in comps. I'm not automating anything, I use Vast and Gleam but I don't think that counts as automation.

Anyway, has anyone managed to get this overturned?

TBH, from what you say, it is acting just like a BOT. No idea what Vast & Gleam are. But if they are a 3rd party software, then even more say.

Perhaps try posting a few comments on X to make you look like a human 👍

They don’t like accounts that only do competition stuff - it gets picked up as a throwaway account.
So were you using that account for anything else because if not that will be the reason.
if you open another one, you need to do more different types of engaging to stop it from happening again.

Me too! I could have written your description! Doesn't sound like it'll get unsuspended.

Me too. I have appealed once and the appeal was turned down.

Mine was banned yesterday for this as well! I've had it for years! I do mainly use it for comps but I like a lot of news/politics stuff on there so I would have thought that was okay? But my appeal was also rejected when I tried to explain this. It then said I needed to log on and follow the instructions but there are no instructions?

I can still read it, I just can't like, RT or post anything.

I also got "Suspended for inauthentic behaviour." Appealed. Refused. They won't specify which behaviour is inauthentic, so I can't do anything about it.

Someone suggested to me that there's been a big wave of these suspensions, and that they want you to use the phone app, not the web browser, which I've always used. I've not tried this yet though.

I have also been swept up in this wave of suspensions sadly. I haven't bothered appealing because it is clearly pointless, and my twitter wins have been few and far between anyway.

I saw on the Lucky Learners facebook group that loads of them had been suspended as well.

@prwilson I use web and the phone app and I can't see any way to get round it.
