New UKPC signs at my local retail park

At my local retail park (Snowhill Wakefield) they never had low level signs displaying terms and conditions that could be read by a disabled driver without leaving the vehicle.

However I noticed on my visit today that they have installed some new signs near some disabled bays. It appears from the information supplied on these new signs that the only term and condition that applies to disabled drivers when parked in a disabled bay is that they must display a valid blue badge. There is nothing on the sign that points drivers in the direction of any other terms of parking so if a disabled driver were to park in the bay where this sign is displayed they would be unaware of any other terms and conditions.

So have UKPC shot themselves in the foot with this get out of jail free card for disabled drivers?

Also they have breached the BPA code of practice with their ridiculously small lettering informing of a £100 parking charge.

Well yes, in theory. They couldn't overstay because there is nothing in that contract.

They will have passed an entry sign, but that's a heads up, not a contract.

They could try and argue about other signs and that this was a repeater sign of the terms in a singular contract. There will be a copy of the main contract as you walk into the store probably.

But they should have added "This is an excerpt from the primary contract. You must also read the T&Cs on the main signs" and taken out all the small print. Because it looks like there are no other contracts to read with all the tiny text.

But then again, UKPC have never set foot in a court room as far as we know.
