Talktalk is bullying me for OTS failure and aggressively billing! Help!
I have been with talktalk for many years and was not on contract but on a monthly rolling fibra35 paying £46.68 a month so I decided to switch to vodafone essential broadband. I put an order on 3 August and vodafone emailed me saying OTS failed so I have to tell talktalk to do a manual switch. On 14 August I was connected to Vodafone and was using Vodafone network since this data and sent talktalk email saying I have switched to Vodafone asking to switch their services off and to close my account. I had no response so on 15 August I chatted with the talktalk agent asking if talktalk have been notified about my Vodafone switch. The agent told they heard nothing, they dont accept switch by email so I requested to switch their broadband off immediately. Agent said they will now require 30 days notice and the last day will be on 16th September. So I have to pay another £46.68 for no fault of my own! Then on 21 August I received a generated bill covering from 25 August to 24 September which was past 16 September (30 days notice end date). I chatted with agent who told me there will be another bill after that and they can't stop automated billing! So on 28 August talktalk took £46.68 from my account. I went to the bank who cancelled payment as not correct. Bank didn't cancel DD but only this payment. They told me to call talktalk to request a final bill so I did that straight away. On first call the agent shouted at me and said just "get on with the bills" and they can't stop the system generating new bills so wait for another bill on 25 September! Next day talktalk sent me email saying they now added £12.50 admin fee for rejected payment which will be added to my next direct debit. Next day another email advising to set up direct debits to avoid admin fees for non payments. So there is nothing about end of their services at all. Talktalk blocked me from contacting them via talktalk email and not making any contacts with me. Letter from talktalk says that automated switch will be managed by your new provider but in reality the switch already happened so talktalk using this OTS system failure to continue charging me with endless generated bills! What do to? It's gives me a lot of stress. I double pay to both providers and broadbands and money are tight. Work part time and currently on UC. I reported them to ofcom but they don't deal with every case. I worry talktalk never stops charging me and there is no indication of end of their services! They didn't send an envelope to return the router as they promised they would. My talktalk account is not showing any sign of broadband ending on 16 September. So how can I stop talktalk? They ignore my request for a manual switch! CAB didn't help. I sent email to CEO Susie Buckridge and Sir Charles Dunstone but they aren't responding. Neil Smith the operational manager not responding. Email to Gemma his assistant is bouncing back. I could not send emails from my talktalk email! So had to send from my addiction email address. So what to do to stop talktalk, they are aggressively billing using OTS failure penalising their customers!
