Moving House - how to get best deal?
I hope that someone can advise please. We are moving shortly and the current occupants in the new house have Scottish Power. When we move in, do we notify Scottish Power that we are now there and can we do this online? I am just thinking that you can get cashback for switching providers or taking services - can you get it if you are signing up for a new account at a property? And initially do we have to stick with Scottish Power (until we at least have a confirmed supply) before we can consider moving if required (current with British Gas before we move)?

You'll need to tell SP that you are moving in. Not sure if their website lets you do this.
You don't get cashback for moving in, but there's nothing to stop you signinig up with someone else when you move in. It'll take about 4-7 weeks to go through, and in the meantime you'll be with SP.0
