Buying an EV for the first time

I've got one from the first boatload (I think) and although I've needed a couple of software updates nothing that couldn't wait until the next service. It's now 4 years old and takes me to Italy every summer, but there was a 26 model parked alongside me at the allotment today and that's got almost a 100 miles greater range. I won't be changing though, it's the best drive I've ever had.
