Progressive Building Society - unable to access account online

I have a Regular Saver with the Progressive Building Society. For almost a week now, I have been unable to access my account. I can log in to the website but then get a message "Progressive Building Society’s online service is currently unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. If you need to contact us during this time, please call our online support team on 0800 0294 997, lines open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm." Scheduled maintenance shouldn't last a week. Does anyone know what is going on?

I've logged in today (web) without issue. Standard advice is to try whichever you haven't tried of app/web or to try another browser.

I too can login OK today to Progressive Building Society. I also logged in on each of the 1st and 2nd September without any issues.

As mentioned, try another browser or a different device if that is possible.

Clear cookies for that site and also cached images.

I get that this week, closing and reopen usually works fine. It could be too many users, e.g what the site is designed to do when it can't get a connection to log you in.

I have to use Salesforce Authenticator app to login. Is your issue there?

I have an issue (on Chrome) where once I've entered my account information, it takes me to a Salesforce password reset page.

I then press 'back' on the browser, which reloads a Progressive holding/waiting page. I then click the Progressive logo on that page. This refreshes the page and then I am logged in and can see my account details and transact on them.

It's odd, it's strange, I don't know why it works like that, but it does!

I took all my money out of my Progressive account a few months ago leaving just £1 in it because they wouldnt let me close the account. It matures in October so whatever issues there are, I hope they get sorted by then cos I will definitely be wanting my £1 + interest.
