The majority of flight tickets are not confirmed until paid in full and will auto-cancel if not paid within a certain time period after the reservation is made - usually 24 or 48 hours

When you book direct with an airline and pay the airline the flights are then confirmed…job done

Different story when you choose to involve a third party in the middle. Usual process would be the third party advertises a fare, you make a booking request and hold is placed on funds, third party make a reservation and then should make payment within the timescale or the flight will auto-cancel

There are occasions where the advertised fare is not available so the third party would ask for more money to complete the booking

If she is sure the funds have left her account and not just pending then speak to bank re 'goods paid for not received'

Do not try to book any other flights with this third party (or any other without proper research first - lots of poor ones out there). Where possible book direct with the airline
