IVA and Trading prop firm
Hi all,
Just wanted to know if anyone is in an active IVA and trading prop firm on the side for extra income.
Do we need to let our IP know that we want to start trading prop firms?
Thanks

So none of your own money is at risk? You are not putting up any security at all?
Under any circumstances including extreme market crashes?
The firm covers any margin calls?
What are the rules about you withdrawing profits? You need to talk to your IP about whether these will be treated as "income" in which case you may be able to keep some, or "windfalls" in which they may all have to be paid into the IVA.0 -
Only the money to buy a pro firm challenge is at risk if i fail the accounts. Its really low risk
Im not putting any personal securities. Just trading the firm’s own risk parameters rather than me using my personal assets. Yes even during extreme market conditions, under any circumstances only the money that I used to buy the challenge will be at risk. And the firm is responsible for any margin calls within the terms of the agreement. I won’t be responsible for trading losses beyond blowing the money used to buy the challenge if i fail it.
I am thinking of starting and yes, I do need to talk to my IP about this as I haven’t mentioned anything to them yet.
Thank you @ManyWays0 -
So how much does it cost to buy this "challenge"?
