I counted two but my Halifax account is now not very separate from my Lloyds account

Can't answer as I don't know.
My problem is the terminology.
I've got a mortgage account that allows me to write cheques, has a massive overdraft (aka my mortgage limit), allows DDs and has garbage interest paid when I'm in credit.
I have another account which doesn't allow cheques, has nearly non existent % rate, and only have it as it was a good deal for the package benefits that came with it. No idea if DDs are allowed as I've never used it for that.
I have a foreign currency account that has a low interest rate, no cheques but would allow me to pay for things by text if I could ever work out how to do it.
And I have a savings account decent interest. And some investments accounts. Obviously I try to keep the majority of my money in these. Have an ISA with £10 in it. Premium bonds….

I’ve renamed the poll to bank accounts.

When you say 'bank accounts', do you mean current accounts? As I have current, savings, investment accounts and credit cards with banks, and some people will also have mortgages and loans with banks.

Current accounts.

I would appeal to those who chose 1 to consider opening a backup (with an entirely separate bank).

any reason you were asking, other than idle curiosity?

It wasn't clear that you were asking about just current accounts so my number is wrong.......how do I correct it now ?

Probably easiest to open the 30 to 40 additional current accounts required to make the number correct, rather than getting the number changed?
