Spring Accelerate app - problems
Lots of reviews award 1* because the app is basically rubbish. Some have had problems over many months. Some cannot get their money out because it is App only! Can Martyn have a word with Spring? The 5% rate is very attractive but not with these issues going on!

…and some people have no problems at all. I've just shifted £10 out to a current account and back again in less than a minute.
And it's app-only because it is. If you've decided to use this product without realising this then you really need help when making basic financial decisions.

Is "because the app is basically rubbish" based on hearsay, or have you tried using it? Because 15 minutes before you started this thread you were asking others whether you should open this account.
Also, not that I'm suggesting reviews should be given much weight in financial decisions, when I look at Trustpilot, it paints a very different picture about the reviews, just 2% are 1 star, and most of the recent ones are 5 star.

The app is working perfectly for me. What's rubbish about it, what are the problems?

I am so impressed with the efficiency of the Spring app that I use the Accelerate account as my emergency pot now instead of my Monzo one. Money moves instantly.

App seems to work OK ... the cute little dog is still chasing his bouncing ball

I gave up on Spring a few months ago, but only because of the interest rate. Luckily I kept my registration open, even though I didn't have any accounts. Opening the Accelerate account was very easy and I've put £5k in today.
Ok, it's app only and payments are only via your nominated account. Suits me perfectly. What's not to like.

What's not to like.
Ask @julie777, they seem to have some issues, although they are not very forthcoming on specifics.
