Morning all, thanks for the start @Gers. That sounds like an interesting experience at the Seniors event yesterday.
Yesterday's persistent drizzle continued until teatime, then nothing. No thunderstorms, flooding etc. For that I'm grateful and hope anyone who was affected is safe and well. At least the drizzle has had chance to sink into the ground rather than heavy downpours that just run off. The yellow weather warning has now been extended until 10 pm tonight but so far it's just cloudy with the occasional glimpse of watery sun.
Usual Friday admin day but, although I do keep an ongoing eye on finances, it will soon be time for the half yearly rejigging of budgets. The grocery one in particular needs attention. 😐️ Fake-away chippy tea tonight - the highlight of my day! 😁
@TA - Probably a good idea to shelve another 'van trip so you can be near to DD at this time - you'd only be worrying about her if you weren't there. x
