Ealing Council sends Charge Certificate without a Notice of Rejection

in Parking tickets, fines & parking

So I got a yellow parking ticket on my driveway as my van was sticking out given I was unloading/loading really heavy items. This was 14/05/2026

I submitted an appeal on 28/05/2026 to which I had an acknowledgement email to go with it.

Then on 13/08/2026 I received a letter in the post (Charge Certificate) stating that a Notice To Owner was sent on 06/07/2026 (I did not receive any such letter or emaill). I received no response to my appeal and have been unable to get through to a human over the phone and haven't received any email responses either.

I have seen some people say to let the time run out and there will be an opportunity to have it adjudicated but i am not sure.

    As this is a council matter I strongly suggest that you post your query over on the FTLA parking forum website after reading their posting requirements first

    You need to make a Stat Dec to say that you didn't receive the Notice to Owner. LBE will then re-send the Notice to Owner which, if you receive it, gives you the opportunity to appeal. Good luck.
