What's happening in February next year?
Stick your details into the MSE Broadband checker and see what's available

There have recently been some very good deals on Sky via the comparison websites, offering both cashback and a gift voucher for switching.
The best deal I found was on the Topcashback site using Compare Quotes > Utilities > Broadband route rather than just searching for the company via the Merchant/Store box.1 -
I would be inclined to get broadband WITHOUT landline and move the landline to a different provider. But depends on what broadband is available.

Those sort of deals are on and off all the time. Is February when the OP is out of contract?
Indecision is the key to flexibility

When your contract with Talktalk comes to an end (I'm presuming February) use a separate voip provider to deal with the phone call side of things leaving you with the ability to select from a wider range of broadband providers. Be aware that you can only switch to a separate voip provider once your existing Talktalk contract is terminated (ideally when your existing contract has come to an end in order to avoid penalty charges).

How much are VoIP services? Currently mulling over an offer from EE for £37 for fibre plus PAYG line rental after Plusnet transferred my service a couple of months ago

The price of VoIP providers vary , picking one at random Voipfone is £6 a month with 100 mins included , there probably are still very cheap providers , but most are not any cheaper that big brand providers that can provide telephony via their broadband router , standalone VoIP needs extra equipment and some charge for importing your existing number , and if they provide a number the charge can vary on how memorable the allocated number is .
PAYG with BT/EE can be expensive if you actually make calls , 30p a minute, so if making 40 mins of calls a month the Unlimited Minutes is a better bet at £12 , but if all you want is incoming calls and the very occasional outgoing call it’s £3 a month .
Your question of how much are VoIP services just needs you to do a search and check out the answers , there is no single answer , DYOR
