Unsuitable tariff for years - Challenge energy company?

Just as a follow up…the energy company agreed to re do my past 3 years worth of readings under an alternative tariff which put me into a significant credit. The person assigned was very understanding and did what they could to listen to the issue and come to a proportionate and fair resolution.
