British Gas switch date choice
Hi
Looking to put my dad and myself on the British Gas tracker tariff as a temporary measure hoping lower fixes may become available in the near future. Both of us are still on good fixes until early Sept. Do British Gas allow you to choose a switch date?
Many thanks

No I think they would action any request the next day - I assume you want to do this via the website rather than try to speak to someone. (Being a BG customer can suddenly become a much less attractive proposition if you have to do this!) In this instance you have nothing to lose by leaving it until the last day of your existing tariff and then submitting the request.

Cheers for the replies. Looks like I need to do a dummy run to find out if I can delay.
Thanks
Edit. Just tried it and no option to delay by the looks of it.
