Gas & Elec switching advice, Would I be better for my contract to end in the spring
My Eon gas & elec contract ends on the 5th October, we are £307.64 in credit and eon dropped September direct debit to £92.85 from £106.41. The new deal they emailed us was Eon best match Next smart saver fixed 24 months (no exit fees) if we leave in the 24months, two cheaper off peak periods per day plus a super off peak and a peak period.. £139.24 a month, Annual £1670.99. I got an online price from Fuse which the deal ends in two days of, 14 months contract exit fees £50 per fuel , Estimated monthly direct debit £132.20, Annual estimated cost £1586.39.I read that I can leave Eon if I wish now do to be near the end of contract with no exit fees.
Would I be better to stay with Eon with the no exit fee contract and leave if I wanted in spring when my prices seem to go down, As my contract at the moment runs out just after the October prices rise. Thankyou for any Advice
