PSP & WII games from US?

Evening,

Off to New York tomorrow.. If I buy Wii games and PSP games do I have to buy a converter or something so they will play on the uk versions or is just not possible?

Thanks.. just dont want to buy a pile of games and then them not work on our regions!!

    PSP games are not regional, you can play US PSP games on a UK PSP no problem, same the other way around.

    PSP films are regional.

    Don't know about the Wii.

    Edit: Looks like Wii's are region locked.

    BexTech is completely right. Consoles are region locked to stop you doing this exact thing (getting cheap games abroad)!
