Professional Glue for Repairing Shoes?
I have a pair of boots that the soles are starting to separate, Since the boot is essentially still good I've decided to try and glue it back. I watched some Youtube videos explaining how to do this. The problem is they're American, which is fine except the glue recommended is a brand that I dont think exist here.
So recommendations please on suitable glue for this purpose? Preferably a contact adhesive. Plus of course any other tip welcomed.
Thanks!

What did they recommend?
I had this problem and Shoe Goo was recommended which is an American brand but is easily obtainable from UK sellers on eBay and Amazon. Seemed to work fine too.0 -
I know this is MSE but I've had a favourite pair of boots glued by Timpsons, very reasonably.

The "professional" glue that I've always used on my boot heels is Klebfest. It's an impact adhesive that works very well, is not too expensive and the only thing you need to be sure is that you don't join the parts too soon, before the solvent has evaporated.

I think it was something like S151 (or similar name?). It was in a pot with a dip brush. I knd of would like to get something like they use if I took them into a repair shop.

Also had soles reglued by Timpsons. Was cheaper than buying a tube of high strength impact adhesive from the local hardware store.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Approximately how much does it cost then?
